Fuyumi decided to remain in the library, choosing to sit beside Shiriku. While gazing at his drawings, Shiriku couldn't help but think, "She's too close, and she smells nice." Fuyumi, smiling and admiring Shiriku's work, unknowingly made Shiriku feel flustered and unable to focus on his drawings. Despite his internal struggle, Shiriku shrugged off his distraction and continued to sketch.
After around ten minutes, Junichi message about their whereabouts, and Shiriku mentioned they were in the library, occupied with their reading and said that Junichi should go first. Junichi acknowledged this and agreed to go ahead. Simultaneously, Sachi messaged Fuyumi inquiring about her location. Fuyumi replied that she was busy with Shiriku and that Sachi could proceed first.
Another 30 minutes passed, and Shiriku, feeling a bit tired, decided to take a brief nap in the library. Fuyumi, meanwhile, switched her seat and delved into the book she'd chosen. As time ticked away, Shiriku slowly roused from his nap, using his arm as a makeshift pillow, he raised his gaze to find Fuyumi gazing at him with a distinct gesture—her hand resting on her cheek, index finger pointing upward. Her expression was a mix of confidence, bashfulness, and a gentle smile, all accented by the breeze playing through her hair. With a yawn, Shiriku croaked, "Fuyumi... Morning i mean afternoon..." Feeling both drowsy and refreshed from his nap.
After Shiriku noticed Fuyumi in that beautiful moment, he was suddenly struck by inspiration and exclaimed, "Fuyumi! Don't move!" He spoke with an excited and enthusiastic voice that bewildered Fuyumi. Without a moment's delay, Shiriku started to draw her, fixing his gaze on her as he sketched. Thirty minutes had passed, and Shiriku, looking thrilled and satisfied with his creation, finally instructed, "Fuyumi, you can move now." When Fuyumi saw the drawing, she was mesmerized by the intricacy and how well it captured her posture, expressing her admiration, "It looks wonderful, Shiriku."
Shiriku, putting down the notebook, chuckled a bit, relishing the wind gracefully playing with Fuyumi's hair. In an accidental slip, he let out, "Yeah, she is beautiful." Instantly recognizing his slip of words, Shiriku's ears reddened slightly. Fuyumi, noticing his reaction, laughed but brushed it off.
Realizing the time, Shiriku expressed a hint of worry, "Ahhh, yup, we should go now, ahahaha." But just as they were about to leave, Fuyumi caught Shiriku's arm in a flirty gesture and echoed, "Yeah."
Later in the evening around 7:30 PM, Fuyumi sat in her room, giggling to herself. "I'm pretty sure I heard that right! Shiriku said I'm beautiful. Well, he didn't technically say my name, but he said it while looking at me." Her mind drifted off into a delightful daydream.
Meanwhile, Shiriku, engrossed in reading manga, couldn't help but wonder why he'd said something like that. A sudden sneeze broke his thought, prompting him to humorously query, "Huh, is someone talking about me?"
The following day at 6:30 AM, within the school premises, Shiriku sat in his chair, engrossed in deciphering a challenging math problem. As he struggled, Sachi approached, her curiosity evident in her query. "What are you doing, Shiriku?" she inquired.
Shiriku, slightly flustered, responded, "Oh, me? I was just trying to solve this assignment. I forgot to do it last night, but I seem to not understand this part." He pointed at the problem, his expression tinted with frustration, and gave a slight tug at his collar out of discomfort.
Sachi, determined to help, immediately grabbed a nearby desk, dragging it closer to Shiriku's, then positioned herself right beside him. "Now let me see," she said, flashing a warm smile. The movement was deliberate as she sought to examine the problem he was struggling with. With a focused expression, she leaned in closer, intent on deciphering the issue with him, striving to offer a helping hand.
Amid the study session, Shiriku's mind raced as Sachi leaned in closer, working through the math problem with her confident demeanor. Internally, he mused, "Ahhh, she's too close." On the other hand, Sachi's enthusiasm was apparent. "Oh, this part? I know this!" she cheerfully exclaimed.
Surprised by her confidence, Shiriku asked, "You do?" Sachi's reassurance was immediate. "Well, yeah, it's a very simple problem. I can help you if you want to," she offered, a friendly smile lighting up her face.
"Aww, thank you so much, Sachi!" Shiriku responded, showing his gratitude by gently holding both of Sachi's hands, a grateful expression gracing his face. Sachi's cheeks turned slightly pink at the unexpected gesture, and she responded, "Ahahaha, you're welcome... You can let go of my hands now, so I can teach it to you."
Quickly realizing his action, Shiriku released her hands, a slight embarrassment colorizing his cheeks. "Oh, HAHAHA, sorry about that," he chuckled, hoping to alleviate any awkwardness created by his impulsive action.
Ten minutes later, Fuyumi entered the classroom to a warm greeting from her fellow classmates. Words of admiration for her beauty filled the air, However, she maintained a cool and composed demeanor, acknowledging the greetings with a polite but distant nod.. However, as she made her way to her seat, she couldn't help but notice Sachi and Shiriku's rather close proximity, engrossed in discussing something.
Baffled by their closeness, Fuyumi decided to summon Junichi for a bit of insight. Upon Junichi's arrival, she questioned him about what was happening between Shiriku and Sachi. Junichi, with a chuckle, explained the situation. "Oh, those two? It seems Shiriku was struggling with an assignment we were given yesterday. I wanted to approach and help him, but I just felt I might confuse him more, you know, since I'm not that good," he admitted, revealing his concern through a nervous expression and a nonchalant shrug.
Fuyumi casually brushed off the subject, indicating her interest in a nonchalant way. "Oh, nothing really. I'm just curious," she mentioned with a small grin and a light chuckle. Junichi, slightly taken aback but trying to match her mood, responded with a light-hearted laugh, although a hint of confusion lingered in his expression.
