Aiden's smile vanished. "Then I'll just have to destroy whatever stands in my way."
Without another word, he vanished, leaving the figure standing alone under the darkening sky.
The figure remained still for a long time before murmuring—

The sigil dissolved into mist, and the figure disappeared.
