Lunara stood at the center of the room, her eyes scanning the group before her. She knew each of them intimately, had watched their growth, their transformation under Aiden's influence. These were the people who would help carry out his vision, the hands and blades in the shadows.
"The princess has taken the bait," Lunara began, her voice smooth but commanding. "Aiden has set the wheels in motion, and now we must do our part."
