Chapter 201 - The Challenge Unconquered for Millennia!

Eddie discovered that Ahman, the Bull Shadow, had acquired a seemingly useless skill called "Blood Pupil Double Kill" through the ancient law reward.

This skill triggered a chance to kill another related enemy simultaneously when Death Gaze was activated, but it was ineffective against lifeless battle beasts or soulless undead.

Eddie realized the trigger probability of Blood Pupil Double Kill was likely minuscule, considering Death Gaze itself had a low activation rate.

Nonetheless, he accepted the skill as it was a gift from the heavens.

He then shifted his focus to Ahman's physical transformation.

Her body, which had been in the process of reshaping, was now enveloped in golden light.

Black impurities were being expelled, and her body was gradually transforming and shrinking.

Her once prominent horns softened and twisted backwards, turning golden. Her facial features softened, and her once overly muscular body began to look more slender.

As the fat and her bull-hide armor started to burn off, her skin became smoother, resembling a woman's texture more closely.

Her hands became more delicate and her fingers slender.

Her tail disappeared, and above her thighs, she exhibited the curves of a woman, with only her lower legs retaining bovine characteristics.

When the golden light finally shone from Ahman's heart, she stood up, having undergone a dramatic transformation.

She was now completely naked, her previous armor gone. Her skin, though still slightly bronzed, radiated health and vitality.

Most strikingly, she now possessed an impressively large bust, which Eddie estimated to be at least a G-cup.

The golden bell necklace hung down, resting in the middle of her large chest, and a golden bracelet adorned her wrist.

Ahman's transformation left Eddie stunned by her newfound feminine appearance.

Ahman's waist became slimmer, resembling that of a normal woman, and her hips spread dramatically, forming a curvaceous hourglass figure.

Eddie couldn't help but feel a surge of wicked desire as he admired her transformed body.

He knew she was his life-protecting battle beast, but he questioned the appropriateness of his thoughts.

Seeing Ahman's fiery figure, even the Blood Queen felt a tinge of envy.

Fortunately, aside from her less prominent chest, she considered herself superior to Ahman in other aspects.

Little Wenli, innocent and unaware, was curious about the differences she observed in Ahman's lower abdomen and almost reached out to touch, prompting Eddie to quickly intercept her curious hand and hand Ahman a set of his clothes.

Although they were too small for her, it was the best he could do for now.

The Blood Queen, sensing Eddie's reluctance to gaze at Ahman, embraced him from behind, pressing her soft body against his back.

Little Wenli added to the chaos by wrapping her arms around Eddie's leg and rubbing her face against his abdomen, igniting a fire in his heart.

He lifted Little Wenli and kissed her passionately to quench his inner thirst.

Meanwhile, Ahman donned the clothes Eddie provided.

Her transformation had left her with a feminine and alluring body, a stark contrast to her previous muscular and bovine form.

Her once prominent horns had now receded and twisted into a golden hue, and her once bulky frame had slimmed down significantly, showcasing her womanly curves.

Eddie checked Ahman's updated information in the summoning tome.

She was now named "Ahman" and classified as a humanoid special class with opened wisdom, at a golden five-level, half-real life form, and a life-protecting battle beast.

Her skills included "Trample," "Death Gaze," and the newly acquired "Blood Pupil Double Kill."

Eddie was thrilled to see the words "opened wisdom" in her information. Ahman's intelligence would enable her to potentially evolve into a sacred beast, a prospect far more exciting than any skill upgrade.

The fact that she had begun to possess life, transitioning from a semi-entity to a half-real life form, indicated that she was inching closer to becoming more human-like.

Eddie realized the significance of Ahman's transformation.

Not only did she gain intelligence, but she also started to develop life, bringing her one step closer to the "humanization" stage, a critical milestone for sacred beasts.

With continued progress, Ahman might one day reach the ability to fully transform into a human, a crucial requirement for sacred beasts.

Unlike the Blood Queen, Ahman remained obedient and compliant even after her evolution.

Eddie was pleased when she quietly returned to the silver tome as a golden light without any resistance.

He felt satisfied looking at her image in the tome, noting that among all his battle beasts, only she and Little Wenli were the most obedient.

Others, like Grey Wolf, would secretly eat magic crystals without telling him, and the Blood Queen acted like a spoiled princess.

Eddie couldn't help but smack the Blood Queen's pert buttocks, catching her off guard.

"Why... hit?" she asked, puzzled by her master's sudden punishment.

Eddie realized he had acted on his thoughts and decided to go all out.

He also playfully spanked the frolicking Thorn Flower Little Devil a few times on her bottom.

Unlike the surprised Blood Queen, the Thorn Flower Little Devil didn't mind the spanking and even seemed to enjoy it, playfully wiggling her bottom.

It was only when Eddie spanked her harder that she hopped off his lap, covering her bottom and looking pitifully at the Blood Queen.

The Blood Queen thought her spontaneous affectionate behavior might have offended Eddie, and she too accepted the reprimand.

Eddie, feeling awkward about the situation, decided to maintain a stern face, then gently stroked their heads to show forgiveness.

This 'carrot and stick' approach moved both the Blood Queen and the Thorn Flower Little Devil, who tearfully and gratefully acknowledged their forgiveness.

Little Wenli watched the scene with a cheerful smile, knowing she was always treated with kindness and praise by Eddie.

When she saw Eddie petting the Blood Queen's face, she also pulled his hand to caress her face, looking up at him with big, sparkling eyes, seemingly enjoying the gentle touch.

"Let's go to the Gemini Palace!" Eddie, encouraged by his success in the Taurus Palace, was eager to conquer the Gemini Palace next.

He wondered what battle beasts awaited him there.

Carrying Ah Bing on his back and holding Little Wenli's hand, with the Blood Queen and the Thorn Flower Little Devil, who didn't want to return to the summoning tome, following behind, the group entered the golden portal in the rear hall, teleporting to the third palace of the Golden Zodiac, the Gemini Palace.

Eddie learned from Jean's introduction that the challenges of the Zodiac Palaces followed a pattern, with each set of three palaces forming a cycle.

In each cycle, the third palace housed the most formidable battle beast. This meant that the guardians of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces were stronger than those in the preceding palaces.

Furthermore, over millennia, it had been observed that Gemini and Virgo Palaces were particularly insurmountable.

No warrior had ever passed through these two palaces in thousands of years.

Curious about the guardian of the Gemini Palace, Eddie braced himself for a formidable encounter.

Typically, warriors started their challenges from either the seventh Libra Palace or the tenth Capricorn Palace, avoiding the daunting Gemini and Virgo Palaces. The highest record in the Zodiac Palaces was set a millennium ago by an unnamed warrior who reached the ninth palace, starting from Libra.

This achievement remained unmatched, with the warrior eventually defeated in the Gemini Palace.

His parting words were: "It's impossible to pass through the Gemini Palace. Absolutely impossible!"

Filled with anticipation, Eddie wondered what kind of battle beast in the Gemini Palace could be so formidable that it made an unbeatable warrior declare it impossible to overcome. What kind of creature had made it insurmountable for thousands of years?

Entering the Gemini Palace, Eddie found it eerily empty, with not a single battle beast in sight until he reached the vast arena at the end.

The sight of the guardian beast left him in shock, and he couldn't help but exclaim.

"Damn, how is this even possible... No wonder they said it's impossible. This is truly an impossible challenge! How on earth am I supposed to fight this?"
