Chapter 126 - Death Class!

When Yehken, Fatso Hessian, and the Li brothers returned, they were dumbstruck to see a beautiful, mature woman sleeping on Eddie's bed and a panda girl happily munching candy nearby. "What's going on here?" Yehken was baffled, amazed at how quickly Eddie had managed to charm a mature woman.

"I picked her up on the roadside," Eddie casually explained.

"Brother, which road did you find her on?" Fatso Hessian asked, hoping to find his own lucky encounter.

"Just downstairs," Eddie replied, telling the truth for a change.

"I can't take this anymore, I'm going to kill myself," Fatso Hessian lamented, banging his head against the wall in frustration. He felt he had wasted two years at the college, never having the luck to find a lost loli. Yet Eddie, on his first day, had already picked up both a mature woman and a loli!

As they were talking, the panda girl, Girlie, suddenly blurted out, "Brother, this fat guy is a fool!"

"She can talk?" Yehken and the others were stunned by another talking battle beast.

"I'm not a fool. I'm very smart. I could count to a hundred at age eight and write my name at nine. I haven't wet the bed since I was ten. How about that? I'm impressive, right? Little sister, my name is Haye the Rich, everyone calls me Fatso Hessian. I'm your brother's boss. Here, have some candy!" Fatso Hessian offered Girlie a pack of malt candy, originally intended to please Yue Frost.

Girlie eyed the amber-colored candy, tempted but ultimately shook her head. "Mommy says not to eat things from fools; otherwise, I'll catch their foolishness. I don't want to be a fool!"

Fatso Hessian collapsed to the ground in shock. The blow was too much for him!

Yehken couldn't stop laughing and praised Girlie, "Right, you're absolutely correct. Foolishness is contagious!"

Girlie looked terrified, genuinely afraid of catching Fatso Hessian's foolishness. Eddie quickly reassured her, "Yehken is just joking. Don't worry, you can't catch foolishness. It's okay, Girlie. Have some candy."

Eagerly accepting the malt candy from Eddie, Girlie savored it for a while before tilting her head and asking doubtfully, "Foolishness really isn't contagious, right?"

When Yehken, Fatso Hessian, and the Li brothers returned, they were astonished to find a beautiful, sleeping woman on Eddie's bed and a panda girl happily sucking on her fingers nearby. "What's happening here?" Yehken was perplexed, amazed at how quickly Eddie had seemingly charmed the woman.

"I just found her outside," Eddie nonchalantly explained.

"Which street did you find her on, brother?" Fatso Hessian asked, seemingly eager to have his own lucky find.

"Just downstairs," Eddie truthfully replied.

Fatso Hessian burst into tears, "I can't stand it anymore!" He dramatically declared his intent to end his life out of sheer jealousy.

The vice-dean, the old fox, entered with Sophia and asked cheerfully, "What are you all talking about? It's lively in here. Oh, Girlie, what are you doing here?" Panda Girl Girlie immediately jumped up and threatened him, "Stay away from my mom, you old pervert!"

Everyone stared at the old fox, as if they'd just seen the world's biggest pervert. He awkwardly tried to defend himself, claiming to be a gentleman of high moral standing, but Eddie produced a colorful erotic manual he found on him, questioning the vice-dean's integrity.

The old fox claimed the items were confiscated from students, but his excuses were thin. He then announced that Eddie had been selected for the 'Hell Journey' death class, which Eddie jokingly interpreted as revenge.

Attempting to save face, the old fox insulted Fatso Hessian, calling him the dregs of waste. Fatso Hessian, already on edge, nearly fainted from anger.

The old fox then turned his attention to Sophia, informing her she would be tutored by a renowned plant master. Despite her wishes to train with Eddie, Sophia accepted the arrangement, understanding the importance of her growth and potential.

Yehken and the others sweat profusely at the blatant disparity in treatment between the boys and Sophia, reflecting the unfairness of their world.

Eddie furrowed his brow at the Ivy League College's apparent preference for female students over male ones. It was an interesting contrast to the typical male-dominant society of the Dragon Loom Continent. Eddie, however, sensed that the old fox, the vice-dean, wasn't really biased but rather implemented different teaching methods based on individual students. He treated obedient students like Sophia with care, while using a tougher approach for the likes of Fatso Hessian and Yehken.

The vice-dean, despite his lecherous facade, was a mystery to Eddie, even with his level three insight. Among all the powerful men Eddie had encountered, only two remained inscrutable: the mysterious elder from the Assassins' Guild and the old fox himself. Even renowned figures like Emperor Alexander and Elder Haye Yew were somewhat transparent to Eddie's gaze, unlike these two enigmatic individuals.

Girlie, upon seeing her 'grandfather' the old fox, immediately jumped up and accused him of being a pervert, causing everyone to view the vice-dean with suspicion and disbelief. The old fox, unfazed, continued to present himself as a paragon of virtue and morality. However, Eddie caught him off guard by producing a colorful erotic manual and a pink brassiere he found on the old fox, prompting an awkward explanation about confiscating students' belongings.

After the old fox's hasty departure, the atmosphere became even more incredulous. Yehken and the others were amazed by the vice-dean's quick teleportation, a feat that seemed more convenient than the Demon Abyss's teleportation orbs.

The sobered-up mature woman transformed completely from her drunken state, brutally beating everyone in sight. Eddie, who was studying beast manuals with Sophia, returned to find the entire dormitory in disarray, with Fatso Hessian and the others suffering the worst of her wrath.

Eddie received a note from Yehken, who was hanging from a coat rack, with a cute paw print on it, left by Girlie. Eddie couldn't help but wonder if his charm only worked on little girls.

Before Eddie could clean up the mess, a stern voice echoed from downstairs, summoning all students of the death class to assemble at Black Stone Plaza within five minutes. Any tardiness would result in severe punishment.

Eddie was taken aback by the strictness of Ivy League College, remembering the old fox's words about the college's principle of making the good better and the bad worse. He realized he had unwittingly become one of the 'good' students.

Fatso Hessian, seemingly half-dead on the floor, sprang to life at the summons, urgently pulling Eddie along. He warned that the instructor was a bloodthirsty killer who had personally executed students for being late.

Shocked by this revelation, Yehken and Eddie reluctantly followed Hessian, who declared that they should face their fate together as brothers.
