Friends to Enemies
Amelia's POV
"Why are you doing this?" I asked Leila. My eyes were fixed on the mirror, boring into hers. I then tilted my neck towards her.
"Why are you helping me?"
"Why do you want to help?" I questioned her. My eyes dimmed in curiosity as I looked up to her from where I sat– waiting for a reply from her.
"Well," She began as she moved a bit farther from me, causing me to stand up, fully turned towards her, and fixed my gaze at her back. My ears strained to fully grasp what she had to say.
"I want him to pay so dearly for messing with me!"
She gave out a brief smile, her face turned cold almost immediately. Her eyes glared into space.
"I'm supposed to be his Luna, but he used and dumped me. He reduced me to his toy– his slave."
Her pain was evident in her voice as she spoke. I could feel her rage, the fury that burned inside her– that screamed revenge.
