Amelia's POV
Jennifer's hand wrapped around my wrist, and I had to pause and observe her leading eyes.
"Please, Amelia. I've never supported Lina and I would never do. But please, avoid her. She's evil!"
I met her gaze, my lips filled with unspoken words. More than I wanted to speak, I wanted to react. I wanted to show Lina the stuff I'm made of and put her in her place. She had crossed my boundaries so many times and I had been quiet. Maybe she thought I was weak.
Oh! Dear Amelia. I was one of the best warriors in my father's pack. I was accorded my full respect by my father's subjects– they had treated me like a princess that I am. I had servants at my beck and call who met my demands at any given time.
