Maya sat inside the car, feeling embarrassed. She didn't know why she had even tried to care for Victor. When she saw Victor now walking towards the car, she closed her eyes and faked sleep as she didn't want to be teased again.
Victor entered the car. He noticed that Maya's eyes were closed, and he knew she was faking sleep, but he let her be. It was better than when she was mad at him for no reason, but right now, they were cool, and he was okay with it.
While pretending to be sleeping, Maya didn't know when she fell asleep for real. She was deep in sleep throughout the drive. When she finally woke up, she rubbed her eyes tiredly and turned her body to find a jacket used to cover her.
