Raven turned his car and went back to the flower shop. If Lily's blood was found at the scene, it would be a hassle. He decided to take precautions and stop the result from leaving the scene.
Lily bit her lips nervously, her heart pounding. "Will they arrest me for murder?" She asked, afraid of meeting the same fate as her brother.
Raven moved his gaze from the road and looked at the girl briefly. "Puffin, do you think I'll let that happen?" He asked.
Lily pressed her lips, locked her green eyes with Raven's brown ones, then looked away.
"You have a long way to go in trusting me," Raven muttered. He didn't say anything else until they got to the flower shop.
Lily's mind raced when she saw the police van parked in front of the shop. She rubbed her clammy palm on her body, her eyes darting left and right until she saw Jeffrey standing with someone dressed in all white overalls.
