Maya sighed. After what she saw in the box, she felt betrayed, but that wasn't the only feeling. She felt like she wouldn't be able to meet Victor's standards, seeing that he had been living a fun life with women. All of that was too personal to explain to Old Bat.
"I didn't say I wasn't coming. I just said I'd go for this date quickly, once it's done I'd be on my way." Maya stood up from her bed. "I canceled the date before, and I don't want to again. Also, the man has children, so he asked for his children to meet with Jason. That's all."
