Maya waited around until she saw the directors leaving the meeting room. Some of them passed her without saying anything, while some just sighed and shook their heads. Maya bit her fingers; she was too ashamed to meet Victor after causing a mess in his first meeting. Without waiting for him, she left the place.
Victor stepped out of the meeting room, looking around to see if Maya was still outside, but there was nobody there.
"Don't be harsh on her; she's really trying her best," Luca spoke from behind. "I mean, I don't blame her. If you had taught her these basic things, I'm sure she wouldn't have made a mistake."
Victor sighed. He hadn't meant to embarrass her earlier. If she had told him she couldn't do it, he would have helped her out. Without replying to Luca, he left.
