"I didn't know you would come to visit soon," Old Bat said with a small smile.
"Lily wanted to see her friend," he said, dipping his hand inside his pocket.
Old Bat nodded, "Of course, I must have lost my mind for a moment, thinking you would come to visit on your own," the older woman chuckled.
"Snow said you've been stripped, everything taken," Raven's voice sounded tired, like he was counting his words before he said them.
Old Bat waved her hands dismissively, "Just a few goods, ports closed. I was already planning on quitting in that line of work. I'm good, by the way. Thanks for asking," Ms. Havilah said with a smile.
Raven's eyes moved to settle on the woman, seeing how tired she looked, like she hadn't had enough sleep.
"I'm glad you came soon enough; I wasn't sure when next to see you. We are moving," Old Bat said, raising a brow from Raven.
