Now away from her Master, Lily stopped walking. She turned to look at Maya, "How come you're with Victor?" she asked, calling for them to sit.
Victor replied, "Ms. Havilah asked that I should come stay with her since going back home wasn't an option," he remarked.
Lily nodded. "That's alright. I'm so glad we all made it out of that hell hole alive."
Maya, who had a knowing smile on her face, nudged Lily. "Was this why you wanted to stay with your Master forever? I mean, I couldn't literally move my tongue in front of him, and did you see just how sleek he moved that night when he came to save you? I know it was a serious situation, but I was tripping!" Maya shouted, hitting her friend excitedly on the hand.
Lily used her finger to touch her lips. "Shh, he can hear you..." she said, trying to calm Maya down.
