The king, the queen, Daniel and Bella came walking in a grand dress following the trumpet sound.
All the guests got down to their knees and bowed down their head showing their respect to their King and his family.
Sandra and Brinda were exited as they were at the front of the hall. Once the King and his family walks down the stairs, they would be amongst the first ones to meet and greet the king and the Queen.
However they never expected even in their wildest of dreams, that transpired next.
Harry who was standing casually was the only one who didn't bowed to the King. The members of his group observed but, did not refute him.
"Hey Charlie, Long time no see.... Hello dear Maaya you haven't changed a bit. Still as lovely as ever..." The deep and sonorous voice sent shivers down everyone kneeling there."
Who in their right mind would address the King and the Queen in such a casual way? That too in front of so many people!!!. They would be punished beyond anything." Sandra thought to herself.
Harry.....!!!!, Queen Maaya was so shocked to see him that she stood like a statue with her hands on her mouth. Tears running down her cheeks. Everyone looked up towards the Queen's shocked voice and were dumbfounded by the scene.
Tears were running down the Queen's eyes. The King was smiling like a fool. Even the prince and princess were surprised to see the reaction of their parents.
Maaya bound down the stairs and ran towards Harry and hugged him tightly, crying hard.
Harry was stunned for a second then patted her back and comforted her. " There, there.... Don't cry now. You know that you look ugly when you cry. I am back now don't worry."
Hearing these words many there had a nosebleed. Who would tell that a queen looks ugly if she cry. He is a gonner. No one can save him. Many thought in those lines.
After a few seconds of crying, Maaya started to assault Harry. " Hey, Maaya it hurts, I am sorry I left without informing you ok.... Cut it out girl. It hurts." Harry started to cower under the non stop assault from the Queen. The King started laughing loudly and started walking towards Harry and motioned everyone to get up.
When Sandra turned around and saw, her heart jumped out of her mouth. It was the same person, whome she insulted at the entrance. She felt like digging a hole in the ground deep and borrow herself in it and never come out.
"She is the only one to make you pay for all the misery you put us through, you jerk." King then Hugged Harry with a broad smile.
After a few seconds, once her rage and emotions calmed down, the queen hugged him again happily and pulled him towards the front of the room. Harry gestured everyone in his group to follow him.
As soon as he reached near to Sandra, " Mayya why are you inviting me to the front, I am an unimportant person here."
Maaya suddenly stopped infront of Sandra and Brinda and turned towards Harry. "Who told you that? Who told, you are an unimportant person here? Did some one insult you? Then she turned to the crowd and announced loudly, who had insulted him. Who the hell had insulted Grandmaster Harry?" The anger in her voice was palpable. Sandra and Brinda shivered and cold sweat started to flow down their back. Johnson sighed sadly but he knew Harry was not a person to take insults silently laying down.
"Who can insult me Maaya? You know how my temper is right? If anyone here had insulted me they would have been lying in their own blood by now." Harry smiled and Pulled her away from the spot. While doing so, he gave a devilish grin to Sandra who almost lost her consciousness, meeting Harry's intense gaze. Her daughter supported her from behind. Brinda was shaking so badly that Johnson inturn had to support her.
Sandra regretted each and everywords she said that evening and promised herself not to look down on anyone. And the same was what running on Brinda's mind.
"Husband, is he..... Is he really Grandmaster Harry?" She asked Johnson in a whisper, who noded his head. She gulped audibly. Now she understood how close she got herself to be executed. She had insulted the messanger of death himself!!!
That was not the end of her surprise that day. The prince and the princess shook hands and began conversing with the young men and young ladies who were with Harry as they were old friends. This was the last hit that made her proudful and egoistic nature to crumble down.
Ladies and gentlemen. Today we are here to actually welcome and celebrate the birthday of myself and Maaya's closest friend. Our brother, the Grandmaster, Harry Goldwin. Everyone applauded cheerfully. Alan and his friends, Daisy, Daniel and Bella were all surprised by this news.
Both the Prince and the princess were around an year old when Harry had left the capital. Even though people around them had spoken about Harry with reverence and respect they never knew he was a part of their family!
The news actually made them extatic. Harry. Grandmaster Harry, their uncle. So whatever they heard that night was true afterall!
In the midst of all of the celebration, no one heard slight twang of the bow strings...
