Chapter 79 - Revealing his Abilities

Al, your scar, it'shealed. Your left forearm, there is no scar now. William obseved closly then turned his left hand tonsee his palm. Gone!! the arrow wound was gone too....!

Williams looked at Helen in astonishment, she was shaking her head. "It's.... it's..... impossible..... How can he.... " Helen was mumbling in disbelief.

"Wil, take me outside, please. I need some fresh air," Alan requested.

Williams, supporting Alan, led him outside. The cool breeze brought relief to Alan's fatigue. Helen and everyone else followed them outdoors. Rose, still confused by everyone's behavior, took a closer look at Alan, who was now lying on the grass, gazing deeply into the sky.

Rose ran and sat next to Alan with concern. "Big brother, what happened? Grandma Helen, please heal him. He looks so tired," Rose almost teared up. Williams, sitting beside Alan, laughed out loud, and even Alan chuckled. The others relaxed and smiled, seeing both Rose and Alan well.

Raising his hand, Alan ruffled her head. "I am alright, kid, just a little tired. Okay, big brother will rest well," he reassured her. Rose smiled brightly, relieved that Alan was well.

"Kid, don't you remember anything?" Williams asked Rose. She shook her head. "I had a bad dream. I was on the rooftop trying to play, slipped, and fell, but big brother Al caught me before I fell down."

"Promise me you will not do such a stupid thing," Alan slowly sat up and said. "I would never do such a terrifying thing. It was so scary even in my dreams," Rose replied.

"Alright then, let's go have dinner. It's already getting late," George beamed as he approached Alan.

Nodding, Alan got up, still feeling a bit weak, and put a hand on William's shoulder for support. "I might need extra servings tonight, Great Uncle George. I feel like I haven't eaten for days," Alan said. "Me too... me too! I am so hungry. I will eat more than Lilly today," Rose exclaimed energetically, making everyone laugh.

Everyone gathered around the dining table, watching as Alan and Rose devoured the food. Alan found himself at the head of the table, a position George insisted upon, brushing aside any protests. "You are the savior of my family, lad. No more protesting," George pushed him into the seat, and Rose sat next to him.

After nearly an hour of consuming a meal meant for ten people, Alan felt rejuvenated. Rose, too, ate three times her usual amount of food.

"I'm sorry, everyone. I almost completely emptied the dinner alone," Alan said in embarrassment. "Not at all, lad, not at all. I had already instructed the kitchens to prepare extra meals before you started, so we'll be having our dinner in a few minutes," George announced happily.

"It's natural to feel extremely exhausted after using magical affinity. The amount you used tonight..." Helen shook her head in wonder. "My dear, I have never seen anyone exert such an amount of internal energy. How did you do it?" she asked.

Alan felt guilty for not letting his grandmother know about his ability to control his internal energy.

Taking a deep breath, he looked at Helen. "Grandma, Master Steve, because of an incident, tested me and realized that I have inherited magical affinity around six months back." He took out his sword from his magical ring, appearing seemingly out of nowhere. Everyone gasped, including Helen. Rose clapped excitedly. "Wow, big brother can do magic!". You can already use the storage ring, Helen looked surprised and shook her head in defeat.

"I forged this sword from my magical affinity. That's why it feels heavy and unyielding in others' hands and feels like a feather in mine. Master Steve calls it Star metal, something he found in a deep forest more than 30 years ago, fallen from the sky. While forging, I started to notice the flow of energy within my body and began to control it. I can control my internal energy without any difficulty.

Master Steve told me not to disclose this to anyone until I turn 18. He tols me... " Alan hesitated a bit at this point and looked around. "He believes that I might have multiple affinities." Helen gasped in shock, and everyone else looked dumbfounded.

"I thought I have my abilities invoked only for crafting now, but I never thought I would be able to activate the healing affinity." He ruffle Rose's head, and a wide smile appeared on his face.

We are glad that you did my boy, we are glad..... Mary smiled tears welling up in her eyes seeing Rose sitting unhurt.

Alan continued, "And..." He looked at Williams, who shrugged. "And I can sense magical affinity. Rather, I can sense people having magical affinity if they are close to me.

I Sensed magical affinity from Wil." Everyone turned their gaze to Williams, who smiled cheekily.

"You both knew about this?" James asked Williams. "Al told me about this, but until I invoke my affinity, I am not worried. And I am quite confident that even if I have an affinity to magic, I will not be able to invoke it before my 18th year, like this freak here," Williams playfully smacked the back of Alan's head with a wide grin. "Ouch," Alan, also grinning, rubbed his head.

"Hey, why are you hitting my big brother? Can'tyou see he was already tired." Rose glared at Williams angrily, making everyone snicker.
