Elena's POV
I was saying goodbye to the two most precious ones in my life, my babies. According to the letter that was sent to me by Beta Alexander, I was asked to leave this pack or my children would be in big trouble.
"Was it really Beta Alexander that sent that message or was someone plotting against me? What if it was Alpha Herrick, after all we had an agreement that I would give him a heir and he would set me free? Maybe selling me to another master was what he meant by setting me free.
Anyway, that was how it was supposed to be. I was supposed to be free from Alpha Herrick and that is exactly what was happening. I wasn't sure this is what I wanted but I knew it would happen anyway.
I had never ever been able to control how things went in my life. My life had always been controlled by people and conditions so I was already so used to it but my heart yearned for more.
