Alpha Herrick's POV
For the past two days, Elena had been acting weird. She didn't want to see anyone, not even me, and she had sent her maids out and had asked none of them to visit her again.
I had to force her to visit the hospital since she had been vomiting for so long. The doctor was yet to give me her report, but I hoped that nothing happened to Elena and the child.
Why Elena suddenly changed was like a mystery to me. We had talked the other day and even felt connected to each other. I wondered why she was acting up.

"My Lord, you look worried," Beta Alexander asked.
"Oh. You don't have to worry. I'm doing okay."
"Remember, you said there would be no secret between us. Talk to me."
"Well, it's about Elena," I said, but then I heard Beta Alexander sigh. I stopped to ask him if everything was okay.
"No, you seem not to be able to get over her. She's literally the only one you talk about."
