For a split moment, Escanor forgot about the princess and imagined his own special person and the feeling of how great it would be.
A smile came to his face and he stared at a distance. Then he snapped from his thoughts and felt guilty, "I mean…" he turned to the Princess and was surprised that she looked at him with a smiling face.
The Princess looked away from him. So that was how it felt to have a mate? Smiling and looking away at a distance.
She had only felt something similar with her children.
But she had felt the direct opposite, staring into space with anger and hate and wanting the object being stared at to be destroyed in the worst way possible, with Stefan during her days in prison.
He had truly brought out all the bad things in her.
