Chapter Three Hundred-Ninety-Five – Mother
Elma slowed down as she saw a small stream with a lonely cottage towards the end of the pack. She came down from the roofs and walked to the cottage with calculating steps.
"Be careful Elma, they may be other children here, we shouldn't hurt them."
Her wolf grunted as response. She reached the door and brushed it open gently with her head. It made a creaking sound and a young boy inside turned.
Panic flashed in his eyes on seeing the huge wolf with unusual colored fur, he stopped what he was doing and tried running away. Elma jumped in front of him and he fell down on his butt.
"Wait! Wolf, wait! Don't kill me!"
Elma came closer, blocking him with the wall and her form, she brought her head closer to him and the boy could only shake in terror from being close to her jaw.
