Chapter Three Hundred-Ninety – Evening Date
Stefan stared at the ground and sweat beads formed on his head as the silence prolonged. He added. "There's a restaurant there too and they have rare delicacies."
Sorren had told him once that Bebe had told him how Laurel would do anything for food. He didn't think it'd be literally but he decided to try his luck.
"I'd come with Marino and Mira."
Stefan snapped his head up. That was a yes! And even better, she'd be bringing her adorable children along. He stood up from the ground. "Really?"
Laurel shrugged. She didn't want to act like the food wasn't the only thing she wanted to do there. "The kids would love to see new places too."
Stefan smiled, reading her completely. Food was really her weak point. That felt like the most important discovery he'd made in his life. He stretched a hand to her. "Alright. We'd go this evening."
