The Princess held Thales hand.
He'd placed himself in a dangerous position for the sake of the weak when he could already easily protect himself. "Thank you so much."
Thales smiled, a sadness hidden underneath. He lost a lot to get there, including Lady Zara, but he replied after exhaling. "Just doing my duty. You're welcome."
Laurel left to speak with Jessika about it immediately and Zeldris was left alone with Thales. "Hope everything has been okay?" Thales asked. "I saw Sorren here."
Zeldris opened his mouth to speak but closed it back again because he knew he had to start from the beginning.
