Chapter Hundred-Eighty-Four – Her Request
"Wouldn't you just tell me what you want?" King Asher asked when the game was almost going to an end.
Zara wasn't in the mood for his question as she was actually losing. Who would've known that the King would be serious for once?
"It wouldn't matter to you unless I win you so that's what I'm going to do." She said with a tone of finality.
Asher didn't appreciate how she worded it. She always like he did something specific to her so he'd always hate him for it.
Meanwhile, in his records, she was the one being really bad to him many times. Either ways, he wouldn't let her win after all she had said.
He took the bishop she had been using to protect herself. Zara grunted, biting her nails.
Asher paused, noticing her action. A smile came to his lips. "Do you still bite your nails when you're nervous? And I thought you lost all your childish habits when you suddenly became so mature."
