Sorren averted his eyes from Zeldris. He didn't like the situation and wished he didn't ask any question that'd have dragged to that point.
But then, this Zeldris would only be asking because he had seen traces of his brother's affection to the Princess, that'd be the case.
He wouldn't just bring it up for no reason so Sorren felt he could answer honestly. In a way it also felt like Zeldris knew the answer to his question and wanted confirmation.
"My brother is truly fond of the Princess. You must've noticed." He tried to sound like he wasn't more involved in their relationship. "That's why I want to know—"
"I couldn't ask the Alpha this but I feel I could ask you now." Zeldris folded his arms, looking deep into Sorren's eyes. "Can I ask you now?"
