Chapter Three Hundred-Seventy-Eight – Interacting
Sorren left where he sat and headed to the kitchen. "Will you stay here for a week?" He asked Zeldris. "I'd like to discuss a lot of things with you."
It was a risky request so he already expected a negative response. A knight who left his position because of a family matter was unheard of and Sorren didn't plan to force his cousin to be the first.
"I-I will think about it." Came Zeldris's answer and his head was lowered. He regretted it before and after he said it but he had still said it.
His last family member knew he existed and wanted to make a closer bond with him. He didn't know to refuse that.
He still knew he had a duty to the Princess but she'd be happier when he's with his family. He hoped.
He watched Sorren leave to the kitchen and Zeldris got comfortable on the couch he was seated on.
