Laurel snickered at the thought Sorren tripped and fell, while moving past a dark hallway. She couldn't see perfectly but her wolf vision helped her see obstacles.
That lycan couldn't even do basic things that other lycans could do, she shook her head in disappointment.
She cornered and her legs slid over and she crashed down. She blinked, not believing her eyes and body felt too limp to do anything, even to get back up.
Her head must have split open due to the force but she was sure that she didn't step on anything and there was nothing on the floor.
She felt for the ground and felt something cold, too cold to be the normal temperature. She tried to get up but couldn't and her feet felt like it'd slide again if she tried standing up.
Saki yelled from her room. "Laurel, was that you?" she rushed to her, holding a candle stick. "Are you okay?"
