Chapter Three Hundred-Fourteen – Intrusive Thoughts
Sorren knew what to say and do to make sure the King didn't grow an 'interest' in him. He'd only want to kick him out of the palace and then, he'd take Laurel with him.
The King wouldn't act adamant to keep Laurel in front of someone else. He'd try to hide his loneliness, and since Sorren didn't care, it'd be perfect to exploit.
"I'd take Sigma with me, and Thales is still at High Moon Kingdom so it'd be no big deal." Sorren assured.
Stefan agreed, making his mind up. "I'd stay here and help you handle the problems that would arise. Cade will handle there. Don't make trouble at High Moon."
It sounded to Sorren that his brother only wanted to work less. There's no need to stay at High Mountains when that lazy elder was around.
