It'd been a hard discovery for the Princess, and a painful moment of realization. Threats were easier said than done!
She buried her head in her pillow as a week passed since she'd been in the King's palace. At the point, it's a kidnap because Thales had returned to Damancas without her.
The plan had to be reported to be an incomplete success and only Thales had the proof. Laurel didn't know how Bebe had been faring but Zeldris had spoken positively.
"This doesn't make sense anymore." Laurel rolled to her back. The King didn't speak to her and all she did was wake, eat, attempt to train alone, fail, and sleep again.
The cycle never changed and she stayed alone. It felt worse than staying in a prison, even if her room was all sparkling and 'princessy'.
She felt like she came as a bride of another Kingdom and would stay as the King's consort till he's ready to get to know her.
