Chapter Three Hundred-Five – Hide It
The young Chris recited his introduction speech again, in front of Sorren. The Prince thought it felt stiff but he didn't want to put much pressure on the kid.
He was clear enough to be heard by the King and Queen of Damancas who had finally accepted their invitation.
"Don't fret. Just speak clearly and let them make their own decision. Whatever it is, accept it politely and leave. I'd stroll with the carriage a bit but I'd be early. Okay?"
Chris stared blankly at the Prince. Sorren snapped his fingers on his face and the boy dragged his eyes from the Prince's face. "S-Sorry. Are you seeing the King too?"
Sorren shook his head and left to his quarters.
Chris sighed. If the Prince wouldn't be seeing the royalties then why did he bother dress so beautifully?
It always distracted him when he looked at him and the boy felt Sorren should meet the royalties.
