There were two carriages prepared and if not Laurel refused it, the young Beta was ready to arrange a third.
Laurel looked into the carriage to be sure they didn't bring a lot of 'gifts' for the King. It was the Beta's idea to give the King some magic imbued swords, to scare him.
The Princess didn't know how it'd scare him but after seeing the dead expression on the child's face, she was certain it might really scare the King.
In one carriage, the Princess, Zeldris and Thales were to stay there. Laurel noted that the carriage was so much bigger than the one she stayed in with Sorren and Stefan.
Probably because Sorren brought that carriage for only himself and really expected them to walk that day.
With the gifts, the other carriage will have Bebe and the Beta, including two maidens that'd serve him. Zeldris had been really displeased by that.
