Zeldris had felt a lot of intense emotions but none had varied like the ones he felt during the few minutes he'd been inside the Alpha's study.
Anger, impressed, scared and worried, and then anger again and more impressed mixed with worry. The Princess was the major reason for those changes.
How did she casually threaten a lycan Alpha? And why did the lycan Alpha let it go all the time without a word?
They had to be something in between, definitely not from the Princess, but the Alpha might have a soft spot for her, which was crazy since her father supposedly killed his.
Zeldris could easily understand why the Alpha would like the Princess since she made things work for her and was amazing, but didn't the Alpha overestimate his chances?!
Why will the Princess ever like him back? Didn't he put in consideration all he had done? Such selfish affection.
