Chapter Two Hundred-Eighty-One – Dislike
Thales didn't know enough of the Princess' wolf to tell anyone, apart from what he read and the little talk he once had with King Titus before his death.
He turned to the door and then to Sorren. It had begun to bother him why the Alpha eavesdropped. He didn't speak of anything suspicious so why not just come in?
Sorren noticed his eyes movement and realized he had noticed Stefan's presence. He wondered if he concealed any information because of the presence.
"The Princess' wolf, it isn't related to magic, is it?"
Sorren's question snapped Thales from thinking about the last talk he had with the Princess' father, he shook his head. "Not at all. It's totally werewolf and I'm only curious."
Something about her wolf being different and making a witch curious? Outside the door, Stefan couldn't help but remember the bland threats those Elders gave.
