Chapter Two Hundred-Seventy-Six – Betrayed
The witch Alice had been directed to stay with the young Beta by the Princess' orders. Laurel trusted the Beta to guard her and his magic imbued weapons could affect her.
The only use for Alice was to heal Bebe and till she achieved that, she'd be given close vigilance.
Alice had informed that Bebe's link with the Grand Witch was weak so it'd not take as much time as she thought to sever, all worked for Laurel as long as Bebe's freed.
It's already been three days since she arrived so the Princess had begun expecting results.
As Laurel sat there contemplating, she didn't notice the small form sneaking out of the hall.
"Marino, where are you going?" she asked when she caught his scent. She frowned a bit. Who taught an innocent child like him how to sneak about?
