The guards that stayed outside, waiting for the Alpha to call them in, noticed Lady Cara walk towards the Princess.
They snuck close to hear them while siding the Princess if anything should happen because Warrior Dylan had already spread 'Lady Cara Hate' to most of the Warriors.
Also, the Princess only engaged when offended so steering clear from her worked, but Lady Cara always wanted attention and would put anyone in trouble to get it.
She had her doting older brother and the Lead Warrior who respected her because of her brother to lean on.
So when the guards heard the Lady call the Princess and then suddenly called her a golden digger, they were sure that the Lady's madness had led to her doom.
Laurel took her hands out of her hair and guided it down her side, with a good amount of self-control. These were her captors and their bullying was bound to come.
