Chapter Two Hundred-Seventy-Two – To Break The Promise
Zeldris glanced at the Princess again.
He felt uncomfortable to let her go but decided to trust that that lycan Alpha, his cousin's brother, wouldn't try killing the Princess in broad daylight.
Laurel followed the Warrior, who stayed behind her for someone who was to walk her. He realized and rushed to her front, and properly walked her to the palace.
At the Alpha's study, Laurel turned to the Warrior again as he walked away. "Remember, I'd sort for your life." She didn't mince words and added. "And I'd sort for it soon."
The other two guards at the Alpha's study became alarmed, staring at the Warrior. They saw his guilty expression and silently prayed for him.
Laurel was permitted to enter the Alpha's study. The guards rushed to the warrior to get a full story of what he did but he rushed out immediately.
