Chapter Two Hundred-Fifty-Six – Never Existed
Why did a man bother to look that beautiful?
Zeldris kept his distance from Sorren, even inside the house, he stole glances at him seated on his table then looked away when Laurel turned to him.
Laurel wondered what sort of embarrassment consumed Zeldris that his cheeks reddened for no reason. Her eyes shifted to Sorren, then a glint flashed in them.
She smirked, inching close to Zeldris. "Uncomfortable around pretty boys, are you? I understand."
Zeldris scoffed but said nothing. He'd accept that Jessika and Lisa's descriptions weren't over exaggerations but that'd make the Prince a snob.
"This is your first time here, right, Princess?" Sorren tossed a read notice into a basket. "Should I serve you something?"
That request striked Zeldris's idea of him being a snob and he hated feeling conflicted. The Prince might be nice enough to offer them something.
