Chapter Two Hundred-Fifty-Three – Gratitude
The maid served the Alpha and Sorren tea, and bowed before taking a whip hanging on a nail. Stefan knitted his brows as she went towards her young master.
What in the world did she want to do to him?
"Young Master!!" she flung the whip besides Darren and with blinding speed Darren raised himself from the couch.
Ella stopped kneading his head and laughed at him, he rose her to his laps and buried his face on her neck, hiding his still sleepy face. The girl laughed, patting his head.
"Alice, that wasn't nice of you, at all." He murmured.
The maid gently replaced the whip on the nail. "It's not my fault that you're still terrified of your father's whip, Young Master. Now, your guests are here. I'd leave you to it."
The maid left and Darren slowly turned to the two lycans who had concerned looks. He released Ella to run along with Alice, due to her identity.
