Laurel raised her gown to let her walk faster.
"I'm not worried, I'm not worried, I'm not worried." She kept on muttering as she hurried to the palace.

Laurel breathed in and out, when she was outside the study. She glared at the warriors who let her in.
"Alpha Stefan, it's Princess Laurel and I'm here with—"

Laurel swallowed down the remaining words and arranged her hair, in case it looked like she run-walked all the way. She briskly walked into the study.
