Chapter Two Hundred-Twenty-Three – Their Relationship
Stefan let out a heavy exhale as he walked down to Sorren's quarters. How were those Elders still active at their old age?
He looked tired just by watching them.
He sighted a lady walking with a young boy. He hastened up when he recognized her. "Lady Blossom!"
The young boy turned first then became pale and bowed. "Alpha! I'm… not here to…" Stefan patted his head.
The Lady bowed. "Alpha Stefan, you sure didn't change. How are you?" she stretched her hand to him but Stefan moved away, his hand still on the boy.
"I heard Chris came back so I hoped to run into him later, that's all." Stefan forced a smile, then noticed her hand reaching for his head again.
She always wanted to pat the next person's head. And he had been trying to repay her son all the head pats but she kept piling them.
