Chapter Two Hundred-Sixteen – Coward
Laurel's grip on Bebe's hand tightened. Coward? This Alpha didn't know a thing!
She quickly jumped back, as a spear dived to the Alpha. The Alpha bent backwards and caught it before it got to her face.
"Don't call the Princess a coward!"
Laurel sighed in relief, he was finally here. She ignored his dangerous act and stretched her hand to stop him from doing anything further.
"We're done here, Escanor, Bebe. Let's go."
She sent one more glance at the Alpha. "I don't know when you'd start your assassination so I'd not bother the Alpha, it'd fail anyway. But know that, you're alone in it."
The Alpha tilted her head. "Is this how you encourage me? If you want, you can tell the Alpha. Though, I doubt it'd change anything. My plans are already in motion."
