Chapter Two Hundred-Two – The Figure
It had been a rainy day.
And the weather wanted it to be everyone's problem.
Laurel glared at the twins' clothes that had been tasking to wash, glued on the wall by an invisible force.
She had totally forgotten about the clothes while it rained. She had needed to soak up cold from the weather that'd put her to sleep.
She had been skipping sleep for three days straight and it began to tell on her body. The Alpha had blatantly rejected her elite forces but she wouldn't give up.
Laurel questioned why she even tried to let him know about it. She could've made the force by her authority. Any Black Claws Warriors that didn't respect them would've had to answer to her.
Still, she kept Zeldris as a bodyguard. She didn't need Stefan's permission to do that.
His reason for refusing Zeldris had been so immature from what she'd expect from him. Because he was a teenager.
