Chapter Hundred-Ninety-Eight – Bloodlust
The assassins circled around Zeno while he calmly took off his gloves. He looked up and found them still there.
"Seriously, I'm not with your brothers, dammit!"
The leader charged at him without response.
And the strangest thing happened.
The birds chirping loudly around Zeno, flew to the leader in a murderous rage, pecking and scratching his face.
The leader swung his sword around but they only increased. The others joined to chase the birds away, but the creatures hiding in the shadows pounced on them.
They were huge black wolves, a special modification of Lunaria's experiments of wolves.
Asher's jaw dropped as he realized. Those creatures bloodlust had increased!
He could feel it since they appeared and their defensive instincts were also high!
The assassins became overwhelmed when crows cawed loudly as they dived down, grabbing skin and hair.
