Chapter Hundred-Eighty-Five – Hugs
Laurel was well aware he didn't lie. The crown confirmed by not glowing, however, he hadn't said the truth yet.
"You don't dare to lie to a Princess." Ferdinand held his sword. "If you don't say your intentions, you'd be delivered to those lycans as a magic user."
The young man froze, nibbling on his lower lips. "Anything but that. Anything but that, please—"
"I don't have time for this." Laurel rubbed her temples. "You make it seem like I'm begging you for information when it's all to your own good. Keep him here, please."
Ferdinand nodded at his servants who held unto the young man. Laurel tried leaving but he yelled out. "Okay, okay, I'd speak! I'd speak!"
But she kept on moving. She had an engagement with Darren earlier. He wasn't at his pack when she sent the notice and wondered if he had returned yet.
"I'd speak, Princess!"
