It's been a while the golden scythe was used so Darren couldn't determine how potent it'd be.
He noticed the lycan didn't remember Ella so it must have worked but it had a side effect, making the lycan go wild because his memories were tampered with.
He made the lycan a ticking bomb because when his memories were tampered with, he went wild and he left it for Black Claws, hoping it'd cause trouble for them.
And when the memories will return, at High Moon, he'd go wild again, but, perhaps, not as vicious. Darren hoped he'd hurt someone important enough to kill him.
That'd be one less lycan in their miserable world.
He sighed, placing the syringe on the table before him. That was a drug he found on the lycan. He didn't know what it was for but he didn't dare try it on himself.
