Chapter Hundred-Thirty-Seven – Baxter
Two lycans will be passing through Green Valleys to go to the palace, and Valkyrie was in charge of guarding them.
Laurel had ordered that only one warrior was needed to guard any lycan entering, not two, they weren't her guests.
Valkyrie noticed the attitude the Black Claws warriors gave the lycans, one or both of them should be an important person. Possibly an official?
She looked at the palace. Shouldn't all officials be in there already? Someone cleared his throat behind her. She glared at him and he flinched. "I mean, excuse me?"
"Name?"
The lycan frowned a bit. Was that necessary? "D-Dylan. With me is Lead Warrior of Black Claws, Baxter, so—"
Valkyrie clenched her sword and he stopped speaking, she turned around. "Dylan, your destination is the palace. I'd walk you. Follow me."
The young lycan nodded obediently and signaled for the one behind him to hurry up.
