Chapter Hundred-Fourteen – Debate II
There was silence in the room.
Cade stood up. "Are you threatening us? I know you had nothing to do with the attack since you were away but that's insensitive of you to say something like that!"
Stefan stared at Laurel. Well, it's not like it was his first time hearing her speak so insensitivity about death.
"You act like my warriors weren't killed as well." Laurel kept her voice low. "It's how war is. But we can prevent that. My vengeful warriors aren't the only ones too."
Why did that sound like those warriors were still out there? Cade narrowed his eyes at her, then sat down.
"Green Valleys was a Kingdom with three packs, we had allies too." Laurel said. "They might not act now because I'm still alive, but they could attack."
Because she was still alive? Then Stefan remembered. An ally of a pack or Kingdom could not act even if it's ally was conquered except when there's no heir to throne.
