Chapter Hundred-Eleven – Disagreement
Either Stefan forgot about her request or he ignored it.
Laurel paced in front of the maid quarters, gritting her teeth at the thought that a week later, nothing has been done to make Green Valleys a pack under Black Claws.
She had told the maids about it but they didn't react excitedly. She knew they probably didn't think it'd happen but Laurel was determined.
Lisa felt better but Laurel knew it wouldn't be easy for her to face any of the of guards after that.
The princess was yet to see Jessika but heard from Valkyrie that Beta Cade had prioritized the cooks safety during the attack even if the warriors didn't go after them.
It sounded awfully weird to Laurel that Cade prioritized others safety but he might be growing into his role as a Beta.
She stopped pacing and watched him come to her.
