Chapter Hundred-Two – Dress Up
Stefan sprang up from the couch again. The movement made Sorren look at him.
"You really like your mate. I would have forgotten she's not here if not that you keep pacing about."
Stefan frowned but said nothing.
Then there was a groan and someone fell before them. Before Stefan could take it in, Sorren left where he sat and rushed to her.
"Princess, oh Goddess, where have you been? Thank Goddess! I have been so worried."
Laurel looked up at him, from the ground were she fell at. She couldn't tell if he was acting or he meant it. From all she just went through, she really hoped he meant it.
"Indeed. It was hell but don't worry, I'm okay now." She laid on the ground almost kissing it, happy to be back.
The Alpha could only stare at his younger brother in annoyance. He had been worried? Didn't he just say the opposite of that before she came in?
