Chapter Hundred – Mistress
Curtains, smell of lavender perfume, giggling of girls.
Laurel's head felt like it'd split in two. Her eyes were dimly opened but all her other senses were alert. Even Elma.
"I might've slept long, Sorry Laurel." Her wolf whimpered. Laurel shook her head gently. Last night was tough on her as it was tough for her wolf, it was no issue to oversleep.
She slowly raised her upper body from the soft bed she was on. She looked around but her eyes immediately popped when she saw them.
It was only an empty bed, with the transparent curtains besides it, that divided them from her. A lady and a young men rumbling in the sheets.
The lady was on top and arched herself above the man and the man slowly rose to kiss her. Laurel snapped her eyes away, her cheeks red like beet.
