Chapter Eighty-Nine – Only a month
Frida was back? Valkyrie leaned on the wall, awaiting her descent from the wall. She watched the Beta's daughter catwalk on the wall, without caring she'd be spotted.
"Always so reckless, you'd be causing trouble for us if you are not careful." Valkyrie said as the lady descended.
"Causing trouble for you maids? Ah, I wouldn't want that." Frida mocked, walking into the maid quarters. She chose a time when she knew the guards were on break.
Also, the guards had been less alert around the quarters since the Princess left. She was their catalyst. The future of the pack they conquered that they had to put an eye on.
The maids in the quarters huddled together, like sheep that had spotted a wolf. They stared at Frida like she was a foreigner.
"What? It hasn't been up to a month I left and you all forgot who I am?" She sounded slightly offended.
"Maybe we don't care much."
