Chapter Seventy-Eight – Prepare
She looked beautiful, she knew. Still Laurel felt scared, scared that she'd walk out and Sorren would look even better then her confidence would be muddled.
"Why the hell was it a man that's making me so envious?" She said with gritted teeth.
She looked down at herself again. The dress was made for goddesses, not deprived princesses like her. Sorren might think a little too highly of her.
She looked at the green dress on the bed. Would it be better on her? She wasn't the same size she used to be. The pink dress fit better.
"Such a dilemma. When I had maids, I didn't even care what I wore as long as it were clothes." She ran her hands through her hair, straightening them out more.
Her finger hit on a hairpins and she adjusted them to make them more prominent. There was one on each side. Green and pink, to compliment her hair and eyes. The only things making her beautiful.
